Why Did I Become a Biofeedback Specialist
In short, as a last-ditch effort to rescue my youngest child from the grips of chronic anxiety.
Like many of you, I'd spent hundreds of hours in and out of doctor's offices. I'd spent tens of thousands of dollars, leaving no stone unturned in my quest to help her cope with the life-altering anxiety that consumed her. I felt like we'd tried everything.

We tried all these things along with others. Though some of these would seem to help for a little while, the anxiety always returned. The psychiatric medications were by far the scariest treatment she tried. Though these medications are lifesaving for some, (like my oldest daughter), for my youngest daughter this was terrifying. After experiencing the common side effects of antipsychotic medications, suicidal thoughts, and isolation, she stopped taking the medications and would never try them again. I was heartbroken, tired, financially drained, and desperate. In my searching, I came across one last possibility that I hoped might work, Quantum Biofeedback. I needed something that would be non-invasive, and as biologically friendly as possible. In my research, I found that there is peer-reviewed literature showing promising results in treating emotional issues such as anxiety (among others) using quantum biofeedback. After taking her to the first visit and seeing the results, we were committed. Knowing other therapies had only helped for a short time I wondered “how long will this feeling of reduced anxiety last?”, I guess time would have to tell. I was ecstatic when she told me it was the first time, she said she noticed a difference in her anxiety level. She felt like it was much easier to manage the stresses of teen social drama and school. Though everyone’s experience is different, twice-a-month biofeedback sessions were ideal for her in the beginning. Then it was monthly sessions, then less and less after that. Eventually, she was going only when she felt like she needed a follow-up.
Though our primary goal was to reduce her anxiety, we found out so much more from each session. We discovered many other things were stressing her body. We found that she had quite a few food sensitivities, along with deficiencies in vitamins, minerals, and essential fatty acids. We also found that some of her organs were stressed. We found out parasites and molds were stressing her body as well. Fortunately, with my background in nutrition, I was able to understand the information from each visit and modify her nutritional needs to match what was optimal for her. Now that she had found something that worked for her, I wanted to try quantum biofeedback for myself.
My story is long, but I’ll keep it short. After my many sessions, I validated a lot of things I already suspected about myself. I also discovered new things I needed to improve. After seeing how much my daughter and I benefited from having testing and energetic training, I dedicated many hours of study, tens of thousands of dollars in equipment and software, and provided numerous one-on-one client sessions to attain my specialist certification. I was happily committed to becoming a quantum biofeedback specialist so I could help other people who are exactly where we had been. One of my lifelong goals continues to be advocating for all people. It’s hard to describe the feeling that comes from watching people experience the same ah-ha moments my daughter and I had. I've been in that place of desperation so many people are experiencing. As someone would expect, after seeing the many areas where quantum biofeedback has helped my family and others, it would be all the motivation I ever needed to become a specialist. So, here I am today, goal accomplished, and now you know….
